On July 7, 2020, journalist Ryan Girdusky reported on a vote the House took on an amendment that would attempt to block President Trump’s withdrawal plan from Afghanistan and Germany.

Indeed, it’s disappointing to see American troops still in Afghanistan.
After nearly 20 years of conflict, the U.S. has spent approximately $1 trillion on the Afghan war according to a Forbes report.
A Brown University study found that over 2,000 Americans have perished in the Afghan conflict.
Given these facts, it’s high time the U.S. get out of Afghanistan.
