On Tuesday, June 4, 2019, Cliff Maloney, the President of Young Americans for Liberty, announced that Brexit leader Nigel Farage would be keynoting the YALCON in Silicon Valley.
This YALCON will take place from July 19 to July 21.
Maloney detailed what YALCONs would usually entail:
At each YALCON students will learn the fundamentals about the principles of liberty and how to take measurable, effective action to reach peers on campus and members of the community.
At this event, the trainings will include:
1. Persuasion Workshops: How to recruit fellow students to the cause of liberty
2. How to Message the Principles of Liberty
2. Mastering Voter Contact and Winning Elections
4. The Real Nature of Politics and Politicians
Most importantly, Farage will be the highlight of the Silicon Valley conference.
Farage is arguably the most effective pro-liberty political leader in contemporary times thanks to his role in the 2016 Brexit vote and his newly formed Brexit Party’s success at the polls during the European Parliament elections in May.
This is the biggest news to come out of YAL since they publicized their latest decision to relocate their headquarters to Texas.
Kennedy, former Congressman Ron Paul, and Kat Timpf are expected to speak at other YALCON trainings.
