The Department of Education, since it was established in 1979, has been one of the major vehicles of social engineering. Co-opting education is one of the state’s ways to poison millions of young Americans’s minds.
There’s zero concern for education quality, but education spending continues to increase. For example, the Department of Education’s budget stood at $14.5 billion in 1979 and close to $67 billion in 2021.
Massie is correct by introducing this bill. The Department of Education is just another bureaucratic monstrosity in D.C. that does nothing to educate America’s youth. But it’s a fantastic way for the Feds to facilitate unprecedented levels of mass indoctrination.
It’s time that America scrap the Department of Education and let parents at the local level decide how their children will be educated.
