Kentucky is leading the way on gun rights.
Ever since Constitutional Carry was passed earlier this year, Kentucky has become one of the more pro-gun states in the nation.
Guns & Ammo magazine ranks it in 6th place for Best States for Gun Owners.
Even with the passage of Constitutional Carry, Kentuckians cannot rest.
Now, establishment types are pushing a red flag gun confiscation order, which would allow law enforcement to seize a person’s gun without any form of due process. Only a simple allegation of a person being perceived as a threat would suffice.
Kentucky State Representative laid down the hammer during a meeting on Friday, November 22, 2019.
She exposed the true nature of the red flag proposal being floated by Democrats and Republicans by claiming that it “Seeks to confiscate firearms from citizens who have not committed a crime.”
Maddox highlighted her opposition to red flag laws on Twitter:
Yesterday in the Interim Joint Committee meeting on Judiciary, we heard a Red Flag law proposal- referred to in this instance as an ERPO (Extreme Risk Protection Order). I am 100% opposed to Red Flag laws, or any additional gun control measures. #2A
Her defense of the Second Amendment caught Congressman Thomas Massie’s attention.
He congratulated her on Twitter:

When you receive praise from someone like Thomas Massie, you know you’re doing something right.
