GOA Congratulates Oklahoma Government for Passing Anti-Red Flag Law

In a press release, Gun Owners of America congratulated the state of Oklahoma for passing Senate Bill 1081, which bans the funding of Red Flag gun confiscation orders.

“Oklahoma, which recently became a Constitutional Carry state, has been showing the way in restoring and reaffirming the right to keep and bear arms,” Erich Pratt, Senior Vice President of GOA stated. “At a time when the anti-gun Left and even some on the right are pushing these dangerous Red Flag gun confiscation orders, it’s very encouraging to see a state stand up for the Constitution and Bill of Rights.”

GOA supported this legislation, but they credited the Oklahoma 2nd Amendment Association for its activism in getting the legislation passed.

The no compromise organization expressed its gratitude for all the gun owners and activists in the Oklahoma to who worked diligently to lobby their legislators and the Governor to back this legislation.

Since passing Constitutional Carry in 2019, Oklahoma has established itself as one of the most pro-gun states in the country.

According to Guns & Ammo magazine, Oklahoma is ranked in 5th place for most pro-gun states in the country.
