Iran Blasts the Biden Regime for Continuing ‘Economic Terrorism’ Through Crippling Sanctions

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani slammed U.S. President-imposed Joe Biden for continuing “economic terrorism” through the crippling sanctions he is imposing in the country.

Rouhani noted that Iran has “been facing an economic terrorism since three years ago,” blaming former president Donald Trump for starting this “war” and admonishing Biden as he “continues committing his crimes.”

Biden recently announced that the U.S. military is dropping bombs on Iran’s allies in the Middle East. This has not helped relations between the two nations. Biden was a critic of Trump’s hardline policies on Iran before he assumed the presidency but is now doubling down on them after being installed into office.

“This attack, like the one preceding it, will not deter these militias from targeting US and coalition forces again,” Randa Slim, a senior fellow for the Middle East Institute, said to the US News and World Report.

Even some of Biden’s fellow Democrats are enraged by Biden’s counter-productive and belligerent policies with regards to Iran.

“The first time the Biden Administration launched airstrikes, they assured Congress there was a plan to de-escalate. Protecting American troops is a priority, but clearly continuing airstrikes is not deterring Iran-backed militias from attacking our troops in Iraq,” said Rep. Sara Jacobs (D-CA), who serves on the House Armed Services Committee and the Foreign Affairs Committee.

“Repeated retaliatory strikes against Iranian proxy forces are starting to look like what would qualify as a pattern of hostilities,” said Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT), who serves on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

“You can’t continue to declare Article II authorities over and over again … without at some point triggering Congress’s authorities,” he added.

“Congress has the power to authorize the use of military force and declarations of war, and the Senate Foreign Relations Committee is planning to hear from the administration more on these strikes,” said Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ), who serves as the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, in a statement.

Biden refuses to acknowledge any limits to his authority to drop bombs in foreign nations and is thumbing his nose in the faces of dovish Democrats opposed to his militarism.

“I have that authority under Article II – and even those up in the Hill who are reluctant to acknowledge that have acknowledged that is the case,” Biden told reporters.

Liberty Conservative News has noted that Biden has served as the consummate regime politician for nearly five decades in Washington D.C. Anti-war voters who showed up for Biden last year are truly hapless pathetic dupes.
