Marjorie Taylor Greene Calls for the Abolition of the ATF

Marjorie Taylor Greene is not playing around.

The Congresswoman is now calling for the defunding and elimination of the ATF.

In a tweet she published on December 17, 2020, she remarked “It’s time to DEFUND and ELIMINATE the ATF! #2A”.

She quote tweeted Stephen Gutowski, the firearms policy reporter for the Washington Free Beacon, who wrote an article about the ATF’s new rule for pistol braces. Under this rule, millions of AR-15 pistols and related firearms must now be “registered, turned in, destroyed, or dismantled.” This is in accordance with federal law which requires short-barreled rifles to be registered and subject to a $200 tax stamp.

Earlier this week, Greene called out the ATF for its corruption, alluding to the infamous “Fast & Furious” scandal that took place 10 years ago. In that incident, the ATF carried out a gun-running program that saw drug cartels get ahold of ATF-provided firearms and used them to attack Border Patrol agents who were searching for criminals along the border. Of those agents, Brian Terry was killed in the exchange of gunfire..

Greene reminded her followers of this incident. She tweeted, “U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was murdered in cold blood with a gun provided to Mexican drug cartels through Barack Obama and Eric Holder’s ATF “Fast & Furious” program. The ATF is an oppressive government agency that should be DEFUNDED and ELIMINATED!”

She also linked to two articles from AmmoLand talking about this change to ATF policy that could potentially turn millions of Americans into criminals.

Greene is a fighter and she is willing to challenge the gun control consensus that has dominated D.C. for decades. She’s exactly what’s been missing in the Republican Party.

Any aspiring America First nationalist candidate should emulate her if they want electoral success.
