Marjorie Taylor Greene Exposes Dan Crenshaw for the Neocon Hack That He Is

As horrible as the Russo-Ukrainian War has been, it has been a clarifying moment for liberty conservatives.

It has unmasked elected officials who are total phonies while also shining light on those who are the real defenders of non-interventionism and realism.

On May 10, 2022, the US House voted to approve a $40 billion economic and military aid package to Ukraine. It was approved on a vote of 368-57.

All 57 elected officials who voted against this bill were Republicans. However, the majority of Republicans (149) voted in favor of this aid package.

Most prominent among the Republicans who opposed this bill was Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene. She was particularly vocal about her opposition to this bill.

She even singled out neoconservative all-stars such as Texas Congressman Dan Crenshaw for supporting this legislation.

This entire exchange started when Crenshaw responded to a user named Chigg Bungus who called the Texas representative’s dedication to border security into question.

Crenshaw responded with a tweet stating “Yeah, because investing in the destruction of our adversary’s military, without losing a single American troop, strikes me as a good idea. You should feel the same.”

Immediately, Greene quote tweeted Crenshaw and asked him, “So you think we are funding a proxy war with Russia?

You speak as if Ukrainian lives should be thrown away, as if they have no value.

Just used and thrown away.

For your proxy war?

How does that help Americans?

How does any of this help?

Crenshaw responded in a passive aggressive manner, inquiring “Still going after that slot on Russia Today huh?”

Greene then responded by noting the futility of sanctions:

“Sanctions aren’t stopping anything, but they are driving inflation and fuel prices.

I refuse to vote for useless measures that cause problems but solve none.

While you send $40 billion for your proxy war against Russia, I’m focused on baby formula for American babies.”

For Greene, domestic issues are far more important than distant geopolitical conflicts where there’s no pressing American interest at stake.

The Georgia congresswoman is on the right path here. Let’s be honest, the US cannot afford to play world policeman any longer, especially when dealing with a nuclear power like Russia.

At the end of the day, domestic decay, not external actors, will lead to our great Republic’s undoing if we don’t get our act together. It’s time to recognize that America’s real enemies lie within, not without.
