Open Borders Activists Who Accosted Kyrsten Sinema Have Strong Ties to George Soros Funded Organizations

Many people were absolutely aghast at the way Arizona Senator Kirsten Sinema was accosted by pro-amnesty activists — a number who were illegal aliens — on October 3, 2021. These open borders radicals followed Sinema into a restroom, after Sinema gave a lecture at Arizona State University.

Well, there is perhaps more to this story than meets the eye.

For example, John Binder of Breitbart News reported that the activists who followed Sinema into a restroom in efforts to compel her to vote for an amnesty bill that is currently being held up in the Senate were part of organizations that receive significant support from Open Borders Inc.

These illegal alien activists are connected to the pro-mass migration advocacy group Living United for Change in Arizona (LUCHA). This group is pushing for amnesty for the roughly 11 to 22 million illegal aliens living in the United States. LUCHA is financially backed by pro-open borders oligarch George Soros.

LUCHA was not alone during this incident. United We Dream also accompanied them. Both groups have connections to Soros’ Open Society Foundation through the Center for Popular Democracy. They recently announced their six-figure campaign to lobby both chambers of Congress to support filibuster-proof budget reconciliation packages that feature amnesty for millions of illegal aliens.

“Since 2010, immigrant communities have been at the forefront of fighting back against anti-immigrant and racist policies here in Arizona,” LUCHA’s Stephanie Maldonado declared in a statement.

Maldonado added:

We know that immigrants continue to contribute to our communities and help ensure that Arizona and the whole country have a growing economy and recovery, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. That is why Democratic Senators like [Kyrsten] Sinema and [Mark] Kelly ran on a platform to defend immigrant communities against Republican attacks and they promised to deliver a much overdue pathway to citizenship for millions. We — the people of Arizona and the grassroots organizers who helped turn out voters in 2018 and 2020 for Sinema, Kelly and [Joe] Biden — will not let them forget it.

Even after being sharply criticized for pursuing Sinenma all the way into the women’s restroom, the LUCHA activists justified their actions claiming that they were necessary to get Sinema’s attention. Sinema, resoundingly criticized the activists’ unhinged behavior.

“In the 19 years I have been teaching at ASU, I have been committed to creating a safe and intellectually challenging environment for my students,” Sinema declared. “Yesterday, that environment was breached. My students were unfairly and unlawfully victimized. This is wholly inappropriate.”

The reason these open borders radicals are targeting Sinema is because of her opposition to the Senate Democrats’ $3.5 trillion budget reconciliation plan. This plan currently functions as a Trojan Horse for amnesty and these activists hope that Democrat lawmakers tack amnesty provisions into it.

Sinema has been an interesting figure that has annoyed the most rabid of leftists. Sinema’s maverick like voting record may turn out to be smart politics. After all, she’s in Arizona, a red-leaning state that is not too keen on radical woke politics.

Her contrarian approach to politics and willingness to break from the Squad factions and radical progressives in the Democratic Party may win her more supporters in Arizona. The fact is that despite Arizona going towards Biden in 2020, Arizona voters are not yet ready to embrace the radical Left. This was on display with the Arizona state legislature not flipping to the blue column during the 2020 elections.

The Arizona Senator’s contrarian behavior will likely continue to grind the radical Left’s gears which is a blessing for liberty conservatives, since it gives us more breathing room to rebuild our forces as Congress continues to be gridlocked.
