Rand Paul Calls for the IRS to Move Tax Filing Deadline to a Later Date

On February 16, 2020, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul called for the IRS to change its filing deadline date.

He Tweeted, “Today I’m calling on the IRS to move our tax filing deadline from April 15 to July 15, and to waive any interest and fees for late payment. This will allow those who owe money not to have to send it during our current situation.”

In times when the Wuhan flu is causing business disruptions and closures of certain services, pushing back the deadline to files taxes is a sensible measure for working class Americans and those who are currently being rocked by these developments.

The Kentucky Senator feels the pulse of Middle America and he is making sure to accommodate them.

Rand Paul is an example for all liberty conservatives to follow.
