Lauren Boebert is Livid About YouTube Censoring Her Speech at CPAC

Individuals and institutions that hate free speech have had to get creative about infringing on one of America’s foundational freedoms. Unlike the majority of Western countries, the US still enjoys strong free speech protections. Hence, the difficulty for globalist politicians to pass so-called “hate speech” laws.

That said, these obstacles have not deterred the powers that be from using devious means to attack free speech in America. One notices this with Big Tech censorship. Social media companies have turned into de facto private enforcers of the managerial regime. The primary victims of such attacks are vocal right-wing figures.

Colorado congresswoman Lauren Boebert has been one of those victims.  On March 24, 2022, she revealed that two whole days of the Conservative Political Action Conference, which included a speech she gave at the event, were taken down by the thought controllers at YouTube.

She tweeted, “Youtube’s censorship has become COMPLETELY out of hand.

Two entire days of CPAC were just ripped off the website – including my speech.

They only censor us because we speak the truth & they can’t risk the ACTUAL facts getting out.”

During her CPAC speech, Boebert called out President Joe Biden for the way in which he has handled energy, immigration, and economic policies.

“We have a resident in the White House who has embarrassed our country,” Boebert declared.

“He has let down the American people, he has weakened our dollar, ya’ll paying the price for that inflation? I sure am. I think the bill has come due for these terrible Democrat policies and everyone is paying for them,” Boebert continued.

“He has emboldened the cartel, enriching them—millions of dollars a day in human trafficking, gun smuggling and drug smuggling.”

According to a report by The HIll, YouTube took down some video content from CPAC’s YouTube channel due to how it allegedly violated the platform’s “election integrity policy.”

“We removed content from the CPAC channel for violating our election integrity policy,” stated YouTube Policy Communications Manager Ivy Choi.

She added: “Our policies apply to everyone, regardless of the uploader’s political views, and while we do allow content that provides additional context such as countervailing views, the content we removed from this channel was footage that did not provide sufficient context.”

Boebert has every right to complain. Big Tech is acting in an overbearing manner and is working to police free speech on the Internet. Liberty conservatives will need to get serious and propose bold reforms to rein in Big Tech’s power. These include treating social media platforms as public utilities, establishing an Internet Bill of Rights, and declaring that all online speech that’s peaceful in nature cannot be infringed upon by both corporations and governments.

Online free speech is an existential issue for the America Right and if we lose on this front, the Left will be on the fast track to political hegemony. Those are the stakes and we must act decisively to avoid subjugation.
