Andy Biggs Pokes Fun at Never Trumpers for Supporting Joe Biden

“Be careful what you wish for.”

An age-old axiom that is very relevant for politics these days.

Many individuals of the “Never Trump” movement initially thought that opposing former President Donald Trump was a matter of decency and being principled. With regards to these assumptions, there was no consideration for the potential consequences of voting for the likes of Joe Biden. Namely, a collapsing border, increased crime, rising inflation, and a deteriorating social climate.

There comes a point when people should pay more attention to actions, not mean words when judging politicians.

American society has become so soft that it discredits politicians for saying uncomfortable truths. Instead, it prefers soothing words and a lack of political substance.

Arizona Congressman Andy Biggs, wants nothing to do with that.

In a tweet he posted on April 22, 2022, Biggs observed:

“The Never-Trumper crowd traded ‘mean tweets’ for the worst economy in 40 years, a porous border, high crime, woke policies in our nation’s schools, and many disastrous policies.

I suspect many have buyer’s remorse.”

There comes a point where we have to start judging politicians by their actions not their rhetoric. Sure, Donald Trump said mean things on Twitter. But at least under his watch, there was a semblance of order thanks to his reasonable border, law & order, and pro-small business policies.

However, those gains have largely dissipated under the Biden regime, which has nice marketing but nasty policies.

Perhaps it’s time to start electing some mean politicians who tell it like it is and are willing to make the hard call, as opposed to electing the politically correct empty suits that we’re so accustomed to.
