Anthony Sabatini Calls Out Republicans Who Don’t Stand Up to Woke Corporations

Republicans used to worship corporations and treated them like holy institutions that could do no wrong.

Not only has this Republican mindset proven to be misguided but also suicidal to boot as these corporations have labored to dispossess Middle Americans and promote values that undermine the Historic American Nation. Thankfully, the new generation of Republican leaders, who believe more in populism as opposed to pro-corporate fawning, is embracing legislation to rein in mega-corporations that push woke values.

Florida State Representative Anthony Sabatini has led the way in moving the Republican Party in a pro-populist direction. He’s one of the most vocal proponents of right-wing populism not only in the Florida State Legislature but also at the national level as he is running for Florida’s 32nd congressional district.

In a tweet he posted on March 28, 2022, Sabatini called out Republicans who have been shaky on a recently passed bill, HB 1557, that bans the discussion of LGBT subjects in classrooms. Sabatini tweeted, “Any Republican running for office in Florida that does not strongly CONDEMN this Woke, leftist, anti-family, anti-parent company should be DESTROYED in the primary election this year.”

The famed Disney corporation was one of the strongest opponents of this newly passed law and called on the Florida state legislature to repeal this legislation. Sabatini is correct in calling for pressure to be placed on politicians who are not firmly against woke corporations.

We’re living in the populist era, where individuals must be willing to part ways with institutions like mega-corporations that work against Middle American interests. One has to recognize that we’re living in a different political context that will require new policy solutions to keep our enemies at bay.

Sabatini is one of the few reps who gets these news challenges and he should be a model for other liberty conservatives to emulate. Weak Republican leaders cannot be tolerated and must be relieved of the burden of holding higher office.
