Arizona Congressman Andy Biggs is An Example Liberty Conservatives Should Follow

At the federal level, there aren’t many Republicans worth following. Nevertheless, there are always exceptions to the rules.

One Republican who stands out among his establishment peers is Arizona Congressman Andy Biggs. Ever since he was elected in 2016, Biggs has been a voice of reason for liberty conservatives.

For example, Biggs has been one of the most outspoken voices against the January 6 witch hunt masquerading as an “investigation.” On the “John Solomon Reports” podcast, Biggs previously declared that the recently formed Democrat-led select committee “isn’t an investigation” and instead believes that “this is a witch hunt.”

Biggs has also pushed for the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan, voted to end US military support to Saudi Arabia in the brutal Yemeni Civil War, and even introduced an amendment to get rid of the 2001 Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF).

The Arizona Congressman is also strong on immigration and believes that birthright citizenship should be repealed. Overall, Biggs is one of the most promising figures on the America First right.

Regardless of one’s views about the viability of federal politics, having a coterie of liberty conservative champions can go a long way in bringing about political change. Having these figures in positions of power can help state and local level candidates along with incumbents build networks that can churn out future leaders.

There’s no reason to despair, even in these trying times there are glimmers of hope. One of the best ways to keep morale amongst people in the liberty conservative movement up is to showcase examples of leaders such as Andy Biggs to demonstrate that there are people fighting for our causes
