House Democrats Unveil Plan to Ban Private Insurance, Undo Trump and Rand’s Free Market Reforms

House Democrats are feeling emboldened after winning power last November and plan to flex their muscle by banning market-based healthcare and forcing everyone into a totalitarian government bureaucracy of sorts.

Almost half of the Democrats’ 235-seat majority in the House have signed onto a Draconian proposal that would force everyone onto the already bloated Medicare rolls. Under the legislation, “all primary care, hospital, and outpatient” would be covered under Medicare by the taxpayer. This reform would add tens of trillions more debt onto the federal rolls and further send the US down the road to serfdom and insolvency.

But freshman Democrats like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-MA) don’t see it that way. They claim without evidence that this new entitlement expansion will somehow save us all in the long run.

“One of the things that we need to realize when we look at something like ‘Medicare for all — ‘Medicare for all’ would save the American people a very large amount of money,” Ocasio-Cortez said during an appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

“What we need to realize is that these investments are better and they are good for our future,” she added. “They are generational investments, not short-term bandaids. They are really profound decisions about who we want to be as a nation, and how we want to act as the wealthiest nation in the history of the world.”

What Ocasio-Cortez, the new defacto leader of the radicalized Democratic Party, wants to do is dismantle reforms that have been achieved by President Donald Trump at the counsel of Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) to steer the US health care industry in a much more free market direction.

President Trump famously repealed the individual mandate in his signature tax bill to cut at the heart of Obamacare, but that hasn’t been his only health care achievement. He also signed the Veterans Choice Improvement Act in 2017 to vastly expand consumer choices for military heroes who were previously trapped in a particularly cruel and ineffective bureaucracy. Trump also partnered with Paul on an executive order that drastically expanded health care freedom for the entire US market.

“Trump is doing what I believe is the biggest free-market reform of health care in a generation,” Paul said at the time.

Now Democrats stand at the cusp of undoing all of that immense progress. We must rally around Trump and Paul and evict all of these extremist Democrats in 2020 in order to protect market-based healthcare from the clutches of these deranged socialists.
