Kentucky Senator Rand Paul Endorses Oklahoma State Senator Nathan Dahm

There are few people at the state level who push the legislative envelope the way Nathan Dahm does.

For his assiduous pro-liberty track record, Oklahoma State Senator Nathan Dahm received an endorsement from Kentucky Senator Rand Paul.

Dahm has shined as a strong pro-Second Amendment supporter and a fierce opponent of the draconian Wuhan virus policies coming from DC. Dahm’s presence in the Senate would come in handy in efforts to get Anthony Fauci fired from his position as Chief Medical Advisor to the President of the United States.

According to a report by Virgina Aabram at the Washington Examiner, Paul is confident in Dahm’s commitment to conservative values. He also believes that Dahm shares Paul’s view of firing Fauci for the way he has handled the Wuhan virus.

Paul went public with his endorsement of Dahm on March 3, 2022.

“As you know, I’ve been standing up against the mandates of Dr. Fauci, but I need your help. That’s why I’m endorsing Nathan Dahm for Senate,” the Kentucky senator declared in a statement. “I know Nathan Dahm will join me in demanding that Fauci is immediately fired and removed from office. Time and time again, Nathan Dahm has proved that he’s a man of courage and conviction who will break the current mold of big government and endless spending.”

Dahm described Paul’s endorsement as “an honor.”

“It is an honor and a blessing to receive Senator Rand Paul’s complete and total support,” Dahm  proclaimed in a statement. “Rand Paul is one of the leading voices in Washington defending our constitutional rights from the Washington machine and standing up to Anthony Fauci’s COVID tyranny. When elected, I look forward to joining Rand in protecting our God-given rights, closing our southern border, firing and prosecuting Anthony Fauci, and making America First again.”

Paul has confronted Fauci during Senate hearings about the US government’s handling of the pandemic. As Aabram observed, Paul challenged Fauci on “gain-of-function virus research and support of extensive lockdowns, masking, and vaccine mandates.”

Dahm is in agreement with Paul and said Fauci “belongs in federal prison for his denials of knowledge of gain-of-function research in a Wuhan, China, lab before the coronavirus pandemic.” Dahm made a public announcement about his candidacy on February 28. The Oklahoma State Senator will be seeking to fill an empty seat that outgoing Oklahoma Senator Jim Inhofe left behind.

Dahm is a proven liberty conservatives with a track record of introducing legislation ranging from protecting his state from red flag gun confiscation orders to cracking down on sanctuary cities. He announced his run for the U.S. Senate seat on February 28. If elected, Dahm would be a good addition to the Senate which is severely lacking in terms of pro-liberty figures.

When it comes to changing policy at the federal level, it really boils down to having the “awful arithmetic”. In other words, a majority of liberty conservatives, or sizable minority, in both chambers of Congress that can at least shape political outcomes. This will be a tough task to accomplish. But it must be done if we want to see any meaningful change.
