Lauren Boebert Believes More than Half of America Will Have Constitutional Carry States

With Georgia about to pass Constitutional Carry, America is about to have 25 states with this legislation.

Constitutional Carry is the simple concept that any lawful individual who can legally own a handgun can carry said handgun openly or concealed without having to beg the government for permission.

So far in 2022, Ohio, Indiana, and Alabama have passed Constitutional Carry. Other states like Louisiana, Nebraska, South Carolina, and Florida have their own Constitutional Carry bills for consideration.

Colorado Congresswoman Lauren Boebert has taken notice of this trend. She tweeted on April 5, “26 states will soon be CONSTITUTIONAL CARRY states. More than HALF the country will be returning to 2A in its intended form, a great victory for liberty, but we still have a lot of work to do!”

Boebert is one of the strongest proponents of the Second Amendment in Congress. She, alongside Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie, is the co-chair of the Second Amendment Caucus in Congress. Any kind of meaningful pro-Second Amendment reform will undoubtedly feature Boebert putting in work.

People think politics is doomed in the US. However, on the Second Amendment front, there’s reason to be optimistic. For example, there were only 2 states with Constitutional Carry in 2009 (Alaska and Vermont), when Barack Obama took office. Fast forward to 2022, there are 25 Constitutional Carry states in America and counting.

Liberty conservatives can pat themselves on the back for making so much progress on this issue. It would behoove liberty conservatives to study the successful practices used to make Constitutional Carry the hottest fight on the Right and apply it to other right-wing causes.
