Rand Paul and His Wife Set Up Accounts at Parler

On June 24, 2020, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul and his wife Kelley Paul decided to make accounts on the social media platform Parler.

Paul’s wife tweeted “Sick of @jack and his cultural revolution censorship. Support free market competition! Follow me and @RandPaul on @parler_app I’m  @kpaul5.”

Parler was rolled out by John Matze Jr. in 2018 as an alternative to Twitter and other social media platforms which have been perceived as being anti-conservative.

With Big Tech takings its censorship efforts to another level, many conservatives are looking to other alternatives to get their message across.

Numerous right wing figures have already migrated to Parler and more will likely continue to do so as Big Tech becomes more brazen in its censorship efforts.
