Rand Paul is Angry With DC Court’s Decision to Drop Charges Against a Leftist Hooligan Who Attacked Him

As Jim Hoft of the Gateway Pundit noted, “We have without a doubt a dysfunctional and unconstitutional two-tiered system of justice.” He was referring to a DC court’s decision to drop charges against a Florida man who punched a DC police officer in the face.

Kentucky Senator Rand Paul was angry about this decision. He manifested his disappointment on March 9, 2022 when DC’s local government dropped charges against the Florida man who punched the law enforcement officer who was protecting Paul during when radical leftist agitators attacked him and his wife back in 2020.

“Surprise, surprise. DC government drops charges against the thug who attacked and injured a DC policeman (a policeman who protected Kelley and I from an angry mob),” Paul posted on Twitter on March 9. “And people wonder why violence is consuming our cities.”

Per D.C. court records, the government issued a notice of nolle prosequi on January 27.

Nolle prosequi is a Latin legal expression that refers to “a legal notice or entry of record that the prosecutor or plaintiff has decided to abandon the prosecution or lawsuit.”

The issuance of the nolle prosequi notice resulted in this charge being dropped.

For some context of this incident: Senator Paul and his wife walked down from the White House to head to their hotel room following former President Trump’s speech at the White House during the final night of the Republican National Convention.

Black Lives Matter and Antifa agitators assaulted the Kentucky Senator and several other individuals.

Hoft observed that “This type of violence which was backed by Democrats was commonplace in the summer of 2020.  Up to $2 billion in damages and 25 people died in these types of riots around the country.”

Thanks to the anarcho-tyrannical nature of the American justice system, real criminals are allowed to walk freely while the lawful are victimized by the state and private criminals.

The Right must make it a point to retake local governments and clean up the bureaucracy so that it can impose its will and make sure that justice reigns supreme across the land. This will first when liberty conservatives take control of their backyards.
