Texas Congressman Chip Roy Calls for Ending Relief Program that Benefits Non-Whites at Whites’ Expense

Texas Congressman Chip Roy wants nothing to do with discriminatory government programs.

That’s why Roy is calling for changes to a Wuhan virus relief fund proposal for restaurants with the aim of repealing provisions that grant businesses owned by minorities and women priority access to funds for the time being.

According to a report by Virginia Aabram of the Washington Examiner, Roy introduced the Restaurant Revitalization Fund Fairness Act on April 5, 2022 to guarantee that grant requests would be handled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Per Aabram’s report, “Over 177,000 requests from restaurants for money to help offset coronavirus-induced costs have not been met since the fund was first introduced as part of the Biden administration’s American Rescue Plan.”

“If money is spent, the government should not discriminate based on race and other woke criteria,” Roy declared in a statement to the Washington Examiner.  “Yet, that is precisely what Democrats did rendering tens of thousands of restaurants ineligible for relief under the Restaurant Revitalization Fund. We should right this wrong.”

Under the purview of the Small Business Administration, this program was mismanaged. Aabram noted that the program “had a 21-day exclusivity window for applicants who came from socially and economically advantaged backgrounds. A Texas court ordered an injunction on the practice in June 2021.”

Roy said that his plan would guarantee “that existing COVID dollars be used to prioritize the 177,300 eligible restaurant owners that were discriminated against and denied relief under the original program and repeal the original RRF’s unconstitutional and racist prioritization scheme that has no place in America.”

Ideally, the Texas congressman stressed that he would favor moves to “stop spending any money at all at this point, … but if a single dollar is spent, it should be spent to help businesses crushed by lockdowns and discrimination.”

This is a good move on Roy’s part. The present managerial states does everything possible to dispossess the Historic American Nation through affirmative action, race-based handouts, and anti-white curricula that teaches people to hate the country’s founding stock.

One of liberty conservatives’ principal goals will be to put the administrative state on a diet and end anti-white policies emanating from DC’s unaccountable bureaucratic apparatus. This will not be an easy task. It will take a new generation of leaders who understand how the 20th century (The Progressive Era, the New Deal, and the Great Deal) was a massive mistake in terms of public policy.

From there, they will need to launch legislative campaigns to downsize the state.
