Former Texas Congressman Ron Paul issued an urgent message to libertarians on Tuesday, informing libertarians that they are now considered to be domestic terrorists by the Joe Biden regime.
Paul pointed to a national security threat assessment describing libertarians and other dissidents as an imminent terrorist threat in his address.
“The domestic terrorist alert is the latest sign that activities on Jan. 6 on Capitol Hill, like the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, are being used to advance a long-standing anti-liberty agenda,” Paul said.
“Legislation expanding the federal government and its authority to use its surveillance and other unconstitutional powers against domestic terrorists is likely to soon be considered by Congress, just as the Patriot Act was written years before 2001, this legislation was written long before Jan. 6,” he added.
Paul noted that the right crisis has arrived for the political establishment to make its move against patriots in the homeland. He pointed to recent comments from disgraced CIA Director John Brennan in which he specifically referenced libertarians as terrorist threats.
“I know looking forward that the members of the Biden team who have been nominated or have been appointed are now moving in laser-like fashion to try to uncover as much as they can about what looks very similar to insurgency movements that we have seen overseas,” he said during an MSNBC appearance, naming “religious extremists, authoritarians, fascists, bigots, racists, nativists, and even libertarians” as groups that will be targeted with invasive and illegal measures.
“I really do think that the law enforcement, Homeland Security, intelligence, and even defense officials are doing everything possible to root out what seems to be a very, very serious and insidious threat to our democracy and our republic,” Brennan said.
Paul is warning libertarians and other anti-establishment dissidents to take these threats with the utmost seriousness.
“Libertarianism is being attacked because it does not support just reforming a few government policies. Instead, it presents a formidable intellectual challenge to the entire welfare/warfare state,” Paul said.
“The ultimate goal of those pushing for a crackdown on domestic terrorism is to make people unwilling to even consider radical ideas, to make people so afraid of certain ideas that they refuse to even give those ideas a fair hearing,” he added.
“All Americans who cherish the Bill of Rights should come together to stop this latest crackdown on liberty,” Paul concluded while urging people to follow Campaign for Liberty to get the latest information on how to push back against legislation expanding federal power.
Paul is not the only libertarian leader who is arguing that the Biden regime poses an existential and unique threat to liberty. Former Libertarian Party presidential candidate Jacob Hornberger has sounded the alarm as well about the tyranny that is to come from the illegitimate Biden administration.
It is time for libertarians to stop making excuses for being passive and actually fight the left-wing tyrants who are on the march to destroy individual freedom.
